Fifth Third Completes Comerica Integration to Become 9th Largest US Bank

Fifth Third Bancorp completed the technical and brand conversion of the Comerica franchise over the Labor Day weekend, the bank said in a Tuesday (Sept. The conversion, which followed the Feb. 1 merger of Fifth Third and Comerica, brought Comerica consumer and commercial customers onto Fifth Third’s platforms and brought the two companies under the Fifth Third brand, according to the release.
