DeepSeek may file mainland IPO application this year

DeepSeek, the Hangzhou-based AI model developer, has begun preparing for a mainland IPO and may file its listing application as soon as this year, according to Bloomberg, citing people familiar with the matter. The company is targeting a 2027 debut. DeepSeek is in talks with accounting and banking advisers and is seeking additional private funding ahead of a potential IPO, Bloomberg reported.
