Google Extends Free Satellite SOS on Pixel 9 Phones for One More Year

Google has extended free access to Satellite SOS on the Pixel 9 series by one more year at no additional cost, a company spokesperson confirmed. The extension arrives as the original two-year free period for the Android phones, which started with the Pixel 9 launch in 2024, approaches its end. "Confirming that we've extended this offering, at no additional cost, for one additional year," the Google spokesperson said.
