Army Eyes Pre-Christmas Launch for ‘Victor’ AI Tool

Army is targeting a launch of Victor, an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven enterprise data platform, before Christmas, provided the system meets key readiness standards, a senior official told reporters on Sept. Victor is described as an “enterprise data mesh” and a “sequenced family of LLMs” designed to give soldiers authoritative answers from Army sources. The system has access to more than 1,500 Army databases, with that number continuing to grow.
