Meta’s Project Phoenix just leaked, and it looks nothing like a Quest

TL;DR Images found inside Meta’s HorizonOS Prescription Lens app appear to reveal the rumored Project Phoenix headset ahead of Meta Connect on September 23. Phoenix looks more like chunky glasses than a traditional Quest headset, with glasses-style nose pads, sensors around the temples, and a separate compute puck. We still haven’t seen Phoenix properly from the front or on someone’s face, leaving big questions about its size, appearance, and overall design.
