Nitin Gadkari skips AI agentic payments; launches FASTag bank portability feature

Skipping everything related to AI and automated agentic payments, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari launched OneTag, a bank-portability feature for the existing NETC FASTag system at the Global Fintech Fest (2026). He announced a timeline for barrier-free tolling nationwide. OneTag lets users keep their FASTag while switching to their preferred bank.
