Big update from UIDAI! Now Aadhaar face authentication will be done instantly in a single app, this new tool launched

To make face authentication linked to Aadhaar card easier and better, the Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has launched a new Authentication SDK (Software Development Kit) and Sandbox. Both these tools were introduced at the Global Fintech Fest 2026. With their help, banks, fintech companies and other institutions related to the financial sector will be able to easily integrate, test and deploy Aadhaar face authentication in their digital applications.
