Apple finally gives iPhone users the pro camera controls Android has had for years

TL;DR Apple is bringing new pro camera controls to the iPhone 18 Pro models, including shutter speed, white balance, aperture, and a histogram. The new 48MP main camera has a physical variable aperture, with four manual settings from f/1.48 to f/4. Similar pro camera controls have long been available on Android, while Samsung offered physical aperture adjustment as far back as 2018.
