PhonePe goes global, secures licence to operate in UAE

IPO-bound PhonePe is taking its payments business global. The fintech company has received its first overseas licence from the Central Bank of the UAE and will soon launch local operations in the region, founder and CEO Sameer Nigam said on Wednesday. We just received our first international licenses from the Central Bank of the UAE.
