Oman’s Telecom Market Reaches 8.44 Million Mobile Subscriptions

Oman ’s National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI) revealed that the Sultanate’s total mobile telecommunications subscriptions grew 1% year-on-year to 8,435,420 by the end of July 2026. Active postpaid mobile subscriptions rose 6.8% to 1,326,014, while active prepaid mobile subscriptions decreased 2.6% to 5,394,199. Connected devices recorded significant growth, with Internet of Things ( IoT ) subscriptions up 9.3% to 1,715,207, reflecting growing adoption across industries.
