Sen. Sanders Introduces Bill to Ban Superintelligent AI

Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., introduced legislation on Sept. 3 to permanently ban artificial intelligence (AI) companies from developing machines humans cannot control and to pause advanced AI development until federal safety rules are established. Greg Casar, D-Texas, signed on as a sponsor of the bill.
