Chinese panel makers forecast to take 65.2% of automotive display shipments in H2

China-based panel makers are expected to supply 65.2% of global automotive-display shipments in the second half of 2026, up from 59% in the first half. Their share has more than doubled since 2019, when they accounted for 28.1% of shipments, and reached 56.6% in 2025. The shift is tied to the restructuring of LCD production outside China, where low returns are prompting manufacturers to close, sell or repurpose older factories.
