Your older Pixel phone may finally be getting Quick Share AirDrop support

TL;DR Android picked up cross-platform Quick Share/AirDrop support last fall, but access has been limited to specific device models. On the Pixel front, that’s included phones from the Pixel 8a on up, but earlier today we learned of a possible expansion to the Pixel Tablet. We’re now also getting reports of Pixel 7 and Pixel 8 users seeing notifications of this new support.
