CRAN and NORED Sign MoU to Boost Rural Connectivity and Digital Infrastructure in Namibia

The Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia (CRAN) and NORED Electricity (Pty) Ltd signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 25 August 2026 in Ondangwa, marking a significant step towards strengthening cooperation in support of Namibia’s digital transformation, rural connectivity, and socio-economic development goals. The five-year non-binding agreement establishes a framework for collaboration between the two (2) institutions in areas of mutual interest, including information and dat
