Ghana’s NCA Receives Four Applications for 5G Spectrum Licences

The National Communications Authority (NCA) has announced the close of applications for spectrum licences in the 700MHz, 2.3GHz and 3GHz mid-bands for the provision of mobile broadband services, including 5G. The deadline for the submission of applications ended at 5:00 p.m., with the NCA receiving a total of four applications for the available spectrum licences. Following the close of submissions, the NCA formally opened Envelope A in line with the published Selection and Award Procedure.
