AWS to Launch First Saudi Arabia Cloud Region in December 2026

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced at LEAP in Riyadh that its first AWS Cloud Infrastructure Region in Saudi Arabia is on track to launch in December 2026. Together with HUMAIN , a Public Investment Fund–owned company, AWS will also make up to 50 megawatts (MW) of capacity available in Saudi Arabia’s first AI Zone by 2028 as part of an expanded strategic collaboration. AWS is HUMAIN’s preferred AI partner, driving AI innovation across the Kingdom and globally.
