Haryana Police sets up AI task force. Here’s what it will do and what remains unclear

Haryana Police is setting up an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Task Force to expand the use of AI in policing. An Indian Police Service (IPS) officer will serve as the force’s AI Officer. The task force will focus on cybercrime investigations, financial trail analysis, grievance management and court-related information, according to a Haryana Police announcement published on August 31.
