Huawei’s H1 revenue rises 9.6% as R&D spending hits RMB121.4 billion

Huawei Investment & Holding reported first-half revenue of RMB467.82 billion, up 9.55% from a year earlier. Net profit fell to RMB23.43 billion from RMB37.05 billion, while research and development spending rose to RMB121.38 billion. R&D spending increased by about 25% and accounted for 25.9% of revenue, according to the company’s half-year figures.
