Sharjah Launches Its First Comprehensive Cyber Security Strategy

The Sharjah Digital Department ( SDD ) has launched the Sharjah Cyber Security Strategy (SCSS) 2026-2031—a five-year roadmap designed to strengthen the Emirate’s cybersecurity ecosystem and enhance its readiness and resilience. Following approval by the Sharjah Executive Council, the SCSS is the Emirate’s first dedicated cybersecurity strategy and aligns with the Sharjah Digital Transformation Strategy 2026-2028 and the UAE’s national cyber priorities. Under the vision of “a cyber-secure Emirate
