HarmonyOS becomes the world’s third-largest mobile operating system, China’s MIIT says

China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said HarmonyOS has become the world’s third-largest mobile operating system . The ministry also said that devices in the OpenHarmony ecosystem now exceed 1.35 billion. The ministry said OpenHarmony-based systems are already being used at scale in cars, home appliances, metallurgy and petrochemicals.
