SIM-based security is a major focus for U.S. operators

Digital identity company Glide.id is teaming up with AT&T , T-Mobile U.S. and Verizon to deploy its carrier-native security platform which eradicates one-time SMS passwords. Launching in public beta across iOS and Android, MagicalAuth uses open network APIs and hardware-rooted cryptographic authentication embedded in SIMs and eSIMs to defend against AI-based identity fraud.
