Valve Publishes Lepton and FEX Compatibility Tools for Arm-Based Steam Frame Headset

Valve has updated the Steam pages for Lepton and FEX, two compatibility tools that will enable the upcoming Arm-based Steam Frame VR headset to run both PC and Android games. These tools work with Proton to translate and execute software across different architectures and are expected to be essential for the Steam Frame’s functionality at launch. The headset uses a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Arm64 SoC and runs a SteamOS build based on Arch Linux.
