Plaid Gives Sierra’s AI Agents Live Access to Bank Accounts

A customer asks an artificial intelligence agent for help refinancing a loan. The agent walks through the options, then stalls the moment it needs real financial data. Sierra and Plaid built an integration to close that gap: Sierra’s AI agents can now request permission to connect a customer’s bank account mid-conversation and use that data without the customer leaving the chat, according to a blog post announcing the integration.
