Nedbank Appoints Former MTN CIO Nikos Angelopoulos as Group Chief Information Officer

Nedbank has appointed Nikos Angelopoulos as its new Group Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective 1 September 2026, as the bank accelerates its digital transformation and technology strategy. Angelopoulos brings more than three decades of international technology leadership experience spanning Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas. His expertise covers technology strategy, digital transformation, cloud computing, data management, and artificial intelligence.
