Lagos grocery startup GoLemon ceases operations following capital shortfall

GoLemon , the Lagos-based e-grocery startup founded by former Paystack executives, has officially announced the closure of its business operations. The shutdown marks the end of a two-year venture aimed at reducing food costs for Nigerian households through direct-from-farm sourcing and full-stack fulfillment. The startup halted order processing in July 2026 and will fully decommission its customer support infrastructure on Sunday, August 2, 2026.
