Rockstar Confirms GTA 6 PS5 Download Codes in Japan Expire 170 Days After Launch

Rockstar has confirmed that physical PS5 copies of Grand Theft Auto 6 sold in Japan include download codes that expire 170 days after the November 19, 2026 launch, according to a Rockstar support page cited by TechSpot. This expiration applies only to the PS5 version in Japan and does not affect buyers in other regions. Rockstar also stated that Xbox codes are not region-locked and do not expire, but did not clarify why this policy differs between platforms.
