Pick n Pay Chairman James Formby named Lead Independent Director at Vukile Property Fund

James Formby, chairperson of Pick n Pay , has been appointed as the lead independent director of Vukile Property Fund , one of the largest real estate investment trusts (REITs) listed on the JSE. Formby, who already serves on Vukile’s board, will formally assume the role at the company’s Annual General Meeting in September 2026, succeeding Dr Renosi Mokate. He will continue to chair the remuneration and human capital committee and remain a member of the audit and risk committee.
