ByteDance’s PICO changes head as it prepares new MR device

ByteDance’s PICO XR business has appointed Li Xiaokai as its new head after founder Zhou Hongyi stepped down for personal career planning. The leadership transition is not expected to change PICO’s existing strategy, research and development work or product plans. PICO plans to launch a new mixed-reality device this year under the codename Project Swan.
