As per gleanings in a Tenable research, 52 per cent of organisations have non-human identities (AI agents and connected sensors) with critical excessive permissions. No wonder threat actors, particularly state-sponsored ones, are increasingly targeting the ‘physical bricks’ now- all the cooling systems, HVAC controls, and building management infrastructure. This threat can lead to automated safety shutdowns and operational denial.
