Safaricom’s Chief Financial Services Officer Esther Waititu Resigns

Safaricom Plc has announced the resignation of Esther Masese Waititu, its Chief Financial Services Officer, effective 31 July 2026. Her departure comes nearly three years after joining the telecoms giant in February 2023. Safaricom CEO Peter Ndegwa informed staff in an internal memo: I wish to announce that Esther Waititu, our Chief Financial Services Officer, will be leaving Safaricom to pursue other opportunities.
