Capitec boosts convenience with largest branch footprint in SA

Capitec Bank is expanding its physical footprint across South Africa, even as many of its competitors scale back their branch networks. Origins of the Strategy Speaking at a BizTalk Masterclass , Capitec Group CEO Graham Lee explained that the bank’s branch rollout has been central to its identity since inception. He recalled how the founders, 25 years ago, walked the length and breadth of the country, from Sandton to Soweto, to understand the gaps in financial services.
