Oracle debuts Base Database Cloud@Customer system for on-premises databases

today debuted an appliance that enterprises can use to run its flagship database at locations such as branch offices. The system is known as Base Database Cloud@Customer. Oracle already offers several appliances that enable companies to run its software on-premises.
