Intel, Fortinet to develop next-gen security processor

Intel and Fortinet have announced a strategic collaboration to develop Fortinet Security Processor 6 (SP6), expanding their long-standing relationship to accelerate the development of the cybersecurity company’s next-generation security processor while strengthening the resilience of its global supply chain. The collaboration combines Fortinet’s proprietary purpose-built security processor expertise with Intel’s semiconductor design, packaging and manufacturing capabilities.
