Standard Chartered selects Broadcom to modernise global banking infrastructure

Standard Chartered has entered into a long-term strategic agreement with Broadcom to modernise its global technology infrastructure by deploying VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) as the bank continues to strengthen its private cloud environment across 54 markets. The bank is standardising its infrastructure on a software-defined private cloud platform to support core banking, payments and digital services while addressing operational, regulatory and security requirements.
