AI should not be 'solo performance' but 'symphony of global collaboration': Xi Jinping

At WAIC 2026, Chinese President Xi Jinping called for global AI collaboration and announced support for 5,000 AI research projects in developing countries. China also launched the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organisation (WAICO) with 29 founding member nations.
