PhysicsWallah Acquires Majority Stake In Sarrthi IAS For ₹72 Cr

Listed edtech major PhysicsWallah (PW) has acquired an additional 11% stake in UPSC coaching institute Sarrthi IAS for a cash consideration of ₹71.81 Cr, increasing its holding in the company from 40% to 51%. The acquisition is part of the shareholders’ agreement and share purchase agreement PW signed with Sarrthi IAS and its promoters on September 2, 2025, to acquire up to 85% of the company’s fully diluted equity share capital in six tranches between FY26 and FY31.
