Uganda Launches National Information Security Framework 2026 to Strengthen Government Cybersecurity

The Minister of ICT and National Guidance, Rt. Justine Kasule Lumumba, has launched the Updated National Information Security Framework (NISF) 2026, which will guide Government institutions in strengthening cybersecurity and protecting Uganda’s growing digital infrastructure. Speaking at the launch, the Minister said that as Government continues to expand digital services, protecting information systems has become a national priority.
