Apple invests in Broadcom chip deal

Apple recently elaborated on the specifics of a custom chip partnership with Broadcom , stating the updated agreement is expected to be worth more than $30 billion. The vendor stated the deal would deliver more than 15 billion US-made chips and support hundreds of domestic jobs. Apple added the deal would help Broadcom to expand and modernise its manufacturing facilities in Fort Collins in the US state of Colorado, with a $1.5 billion capex investment.
