macOS is becoming a proving ground for AI agents

Somewhere right now, a Mac Mini is sitting on a shelf doing someone’s chores. It reads a version number out of Terminal, hops over to Safari, digs up a release year, then quietly files a reminder, the kind of dull three-app errand a human would grumble through in ninety seconds. The machine just works, hour after hour, an AI agent with hands on the keyboard and no one in the room.
