Water is so integrated into our daily lives that it no longer even seems like something special to us. We turn on the tap, flush the toilet or activate the shower jet and there it is, waiting. However, for that to happen many things have to happen, a complex water cycle that guarantees not only that it circulates but also that it is optimal for human consumption.
