“Supporting to resolve information silos” Open Text discloses cases of application of the US Navy maintenance system

According to Open Text, it is pointed out that the complexity of technical documentation and operational data management is increasing as digital transformation has recently expanded, especially in domestic manufacturing, defense, energy, and public institutions. In particular, in the equipment maintenance (MRO) environment, data is distributed across multiple systems, making it difficult for field engineers to quickly obtain the necessary information. In addition, domestic companies are showing a cautious attitude toward the introduction of cloud and AI due to high security requirements and a closed IT environment, and there is also analysis that in this process, the so-called ‘information silo’ phenomenon is occurring, which limits data utilization.
