India and Japan deepen semiconductor and technology alliance

India and Japan have deepened their alliance for semiconductors, and relevant technologies today. Ashok Chandak, President, IESA and SEMI India, said: IESA wholeheartedly welcomes the outcomes of the India–Japan Summit and applauds the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi for elevating the partnership into a new era centred on economic security, trusted technologies, artificial Intelligence, resilient supply chains and strategic industrial collaboration.
