Threads Expands Live Chats With New Features

Meta’s Threads is expanding its Live Chats feature with new tools aimed at improving accessibility, moderation, and real-time engagement across the platform. The update includes support for message translations, expanded access for community leaders, and new hosting tools designed to make large conversations easier to manage. The company says the changes are part of its broader effort to position Threads as a destination for real-time discussions, competing more directly with platforms like X.
