Major Retailer Warns PS5 and Xbox Series Console Supply Will Not Meet GTA 6 Launch Demand in November

A senior games buyer at a major retailer has warned that the supply of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S will not meet demand during the November launch of Grand Theft Auto 6. The buyer, speaking anonymously to The Game Business, said ongoing hardware component shortages will prevent retailers from receiving the consoles they ordered ahead of the release. Microsoft has also acknowledged supply issues with Xbox hardware.
