SpaceX Pushes Starlink Mobile Across Africa Through Airtel and MTN

SpaceX’s Starlink has received licenses in 30 African countries and has made agreements with two of the largest mobile companies on the continent. The Satellite company is preparing to offer smartphone connectivity without the need for a dish or tower. This progress is challenging Africa’s existing telecom companies to decide whether to compete with or partner with Starlink, which is changing the rules of the industry.
