Amazon Announces Additional $13 Bn Investment In India To Boost AI, Cloud Infra

Amazon CEO Andy Jassy, who is on a visit to India, announced the ecommerce giant’s plans to invest an additional $13 Bn in India to scale AI and cloud infrastructure by 2030. This investment is in addition to the $35 Bn committed by the company for India, taking the total commitment size to $48 Bn. Overall, the company plans to invest $21 Bn in AI and cloud infrastructure in India between 2026 and 2030.
