HaloBraid Raises $7M to Bring a Robotic Braiding Assistant to Hair Salons

Yinka Ogunbiyi had an idea during the pandemic lockdown in London. While stuck in her apartment in 2020, she tried to braid her own hair for the first time. By the second day, she began to think about the history of braiding and why it hasn’t changed much in thousands of years.
