WapiPay Secures Canadian Licence to Expand Cross-Border Payments

Kenyan fintech company WapiPay has expanded into North America after securing a Money Services Business (MSB) licence from Canada’s Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre (FINTRAC), marking a major milestone in the company’s international growth strategy. The regulatory approval gives WapiPay its first licensed operating presence in North America and allows the fintech to offer a range of financial services through a newly established Canadian subsidiary.
