President Donald Trump signed two executive orders on the 25th to accelerate the federal government's transition to post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and expand U.S. investment in quantum technology. The administration explained this measure as a comprehensive government-wide strategy to simultaneously prepare for the opportunities and risks that quantum computing will bring.
