Wakeline lands €2.1M to bring continuous learning to AI

Düsseldorf-based Wakeline , a deeptech startup developing continuously adaptive AI systems, has raised €2.1 million in pre-seed funding. The round was led by Aachen-based TechVision Fonds (TVF), with participation from Cologne-based venture capital firm neoteq ventures . Founded in 2025 by Tim Gülke , Jan Böggering , Simon Sprünker and Merten Tiedemann , Wakeline is building AI systems that learn during live operation rather than relying solely on historical data and periodic retraining.
